I will work with every student to ensure that their is equitable access to the internet.
My plan:
1. I will research students and their families to determine access and needs.
2. I will create thoughtful, meaningful lessons that can be completed according to student access to the internet and technology.
3. I will teach digital literacy as a part of my English/Language Arts curriculum. These procedures will be enacted at the beginning of the school year and build throughout the year. Students will be able to produce tasks involving word processing, Prezi, and proper research techniques.
4. I will work with the media specialist at my school to dedicate class time to utilize our school's computer lab so that every student will have the opportunity to use technology.
Note: Our school does not currently have a check out program for devices.
